Who is affected?

This update is for mid-career managers, entrepreneurs and professionals seeking IIM Kozhikode’s executive management qualification while continuing their careers.

Eligibility

General, OBC-NCL and EWS applicants need a recognised bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. The policy lists category-specific relaxations for women, SC, ST and PwD applicants. CA, ICWA or CS holders without a bachelor’s degree may apply under the policy’s 50% aggregate route.

All applicants must have at least 1,095 days of managerial, entrepreneurial or professional experience after completing graduation by the phase closing date. Internships and apprenticeships do not count.

Fees and documents

The application fee is ₹2,000 and is non-refundable. The programme fee is ₹16.75 lakh in seven instalments; the policy also specifies a ₹2,000 student welfare fund and ₹10,000 alumni fee. Travel and accommodation for campus visits are not included.

Applicants should prepare degree and marks records, complete employment history, recent experience certificates, photograph, signature, identity proof, and a category certificate issued after January 1, 2026 where applicable. A foreign degree requires the stated equivalency evidence.

Required student action

Calculate qualifying experience carefully, gather certificates covering the full employment history, choose the EMAT or eligible test-score route, and submit the application before August 17.

How to apply

  1. Read the official EPGP-19 admission policy.
  2. Open the official IIM Kozhikode registration page.
  3. Register and enter academic, category and complete employment details.
  4. Upload the required marksheets, degree and experience certificates.
  5. Select the appropriate EMAT or valid CAT/GRE/GMAT route and pay ₹2,000.
  6. Download the final application and monitor the registered email for shortlisting information.

What happens if the deadline is missed?

Phase 3 closes on August 17. The published policy does not provide a later application phase, so an incomplete or unpaid form after that date may not enter the 2026-28 selection process.

FAQ

Can pre-graduation experience be counted?

No. IIM Kozhikode counts qualifying work experience only after graduation.

Can CAT, GMAT or GRE replace EMAT?

Yes, if the score meets the policy’s cut-off and recency conditions. Applicants should check the exact CAT percentile or GMAT/GRE thresholds in the official policy.

Is selection based only on work experience?

No. Selection uses the admission stages and merit formula, including the aptitude-test route, personal interview and work-experience assessment.
