Overview
The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Pharmacy is an undergraduate programme in Ayurvedic medicines, raw materials, formulation, quality and manufacturing. It is distinct from BPharm and does not automatically provide the same pharmacist-registration outcome.
What students study
Students may study Ayurvedic principles, medicinal plants, pharmacognosy, formulations, chemistry, quality control, processing, regulation and manufacturing. Herbal laboratories, pharmacy practice and industrial training are important.
Duration and study options

Eligibility and admission
Applicants generally need Class 12 or equivalent with science subjects under the institution’s marks and other conditions. Selection may use qualifying marks, state or university tests and counselling.

Graduates enter Ayurvedic medicine production, quality, raw-material sourcing, research support, technical sales and regulatory support. Options include Ayurvedic pharmacy, pharmacognosy, quality, management and research.
