The Bachelor of Literature (BLitt) is an undergraduate language-and-literature degree offered in selected Indian universities, often in a specific language. It develops close reading, writing, cultural understanding and knowledge of literary traditions rather than serving as a single uniform national curriculum.
What students study
Students may study poetry, fiction, drama, grammar, literary history, criticism, linguistics, translation, folklore and cultural studies in the chosen language.
