The Master of Engineering (ME) is a postgraduate engineering degree for advanced technical study in a selected branch. It is commonly considered alongside MTech, although universities may differ in course structure, research emphasis and the exact award title.
What students study
Students take advanced core modules and electives in their specialisation, research methods, seminars and laboratory or computational work. A dissertation, design project or industry project is usually central. Supervisor expertise and project resources strongly influence the experience.
