Overview

The National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) Examination is the assessment linked to the Ministry of Education and AICTE initiative for inductee teachers working in AICTE-approved technical institutions. The programme combines online training with assessment for the prescribed teacher-training modules.

Who takes the NITTT examination?

NTA’s April-May 2026 semester notice applies to registered inductee teachers of AICTE-approved institutions who completed the relevant NITTT training modules and were scheduled for the final assessment. Candidates should rely on their admit card and registered email for the modules, date and shift assigned to them.

  • Internet-based, remote-proctored examination
  • 100 objective multiple-choice questions
  • Two-hour duration
  • English-language question paper
  • Two available shifts on notified examination days
