Overview
The University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) is a management institute of Panjab University in Chandigarh. Panjab University’s Faculty of Business Management and Commerce launched UIAMS in 2008-09 to offer management education in sector-focused areas.

For the 2026-27 admission cycle, UIAMS lists sectoral MBA programmes in Retail Management, Banking and Insurance Management, Capital Markets, Business Analytics, Infrastructural Management, IT and Telecommunications Management, Pharmaceutical Management, and Hospital Management.
