The University of Delhi (DU) one-year postgraduate admission portal for 2026-27 now shows July 31, 2026, 11:59 PM IST as the registration and payment deadline. This route is for eligible students who completed a four-year undergraduate degree under DU’s UGCF 2022 framework and want to enter a one-year master’s programme.
What changed?
DU’s official postgraduate portal is accepting one-year PG applications, and it now displays both the registration closing time and the fee-payment window as July 31 at 11:59 PM IST. DU’s PG admissions page also carries the dated public notice, bulletin and portal link.
Who can apply?
- Students who completed a four-year undergraduate programme under UGCF 2022/NEP 2020 from the University of Delhi.
- Eligible graduates from DU’s regular colleges, School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB).
- Candidates who satisfy the programme-specific subject, credit and score requirements in the official one-year PG bulletin.
The general minimum in the bulletin is 50% for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS applicants and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants, but several programmes prescribe a higher threshold or particular credits. Treat the programme table in the DU bulletin as the final eligibility check.
Required student action
- Open the DU PG admission portal and select the one-year PG option for regular and SOL students.
- Sign in with your DU enrolment number and date of birth exactly as recorded by the University.
- Complete Phase I by checking your personal and academic details.
- In Phase II, select only programmes for which your four-year degree, Major credits and score meet the published eligibility rule. The official registration notice tells students to check the total credits required for the Major and their SGPA/CGPA.
- Upload or confirm every item requested on the dashboard, review the declaration and submit the form.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee through the official portal before July 31, 2026, 11:59 PM IST. Save the final form and successful payment receipt.

The fee applies separately to each selected programme and is non-refundable. DU says an application is complete only after the payment is realized through the portal.

If your eighth-semester result is pending
DU’s July 23 public notice says students awaiting their four-year UG result may proceed with Phase II after the eighth-semester result is declared. Do not guess your final credits or CGPA; return to the dashboard when the official result is available and finish all remaining steps before the portal closes.
What happens if you miss the deadline?
A saved form without successful fee realization is not a completed application. If registration or payment is not completed by July 31 at 11:59 PM IST, the candidate can lose the right to be considered in this admission cycle. DU does not accept payment through an unofficial link or another mode.
