Kerala’s Commissioner for Entrance Examinations has opened a new KEAM 2026 window for Medical and Medical Allied courses. NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates who did not previously apply under KEAM can submit a fresh application, while existing KEAM applicants can add eligible courses and reservation claims until July 27.
Key highlights
- Fresh Medical and Medical Allied applications are open from July 23 to 11:00 AM on July 27, 2026.
- Only candidates who have not submitted any KEAM 2026 application should use the fresh application route.
- Existing KEAM applicants must use Add Course and the claim-upload options in the candidate portal instead of submitting another application.
- Medical and allied consideration requires qualification in NEET UG 2026.
- Applicable NRI, minority, community, EWS and other claim documents must be uploaded in this window because CEE says there will be no later opportunity.
Important dates
| Action | Window |
|---|---|
| Fresh Medical/Allied application, course addition or reservation claim | July 23 afternoon to July 27, 2026, 11:00 AM |
Who is affected?
The medical window covers NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates seeking Kerala admission to courses including MBBS, BDS and other notified Medical and Medical Allied programmes. It includes both completely new KEAM applicants and candidates who already applied for Engineering, Architecture or Pharmacy but now need to add Medical/Allied choices or claims.
Required student action
If you have never submitted a KEAM 2026 application
- Open the official CEE Kerala website and choose KEAM 2026 Online Application.
- Register and complete the Medical/Medical Allied application steps.
- Upload academic, identity and reservation or fee-concession documents that apply to you.
- Pay the application fee online.
- Download and save the acknowledgement page before 11:00 AM on July 27.
If you already submitted a KEAM 2026 application
- Do not create a second application. CEE says a fresh application from an existing applicant will be rejected and multiple applications may lead to cancellation.
- Sign in through the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal with the application number and password.
- Use Add Course to select eligible Medical and Medical Allied courses.
- Use Upload NRI Document or Upload Category/Minority to add an applicable NRI, community, EWS or minority claim.
- Upload every supporting document and pay any additional application fee online before the deadline.
Reservation documents cannot be added later
CEE specifically says there will be no later opportunity to submit supporting documents for NRI, minority, community, EWS, special reservation or income-based fee-concession claims. Upload the correct certificate in the current window and confirm that it is readable before final submission.
What happens if the deadline is missed?
A Medical/Allied applicant who does not apply, add the course or upload a claim by 11:00 AM on July 27 may lose consideration through this window. An existing applicant who submits another fresh form also risks rejection or cancellation because the notice says multiple applications may lead to cancellation.
