GGSIPU will hold first offline counselling for Bachelor in Clinical Psychology on July 30, 2026 and Master in Clinical Psychology on July 31, 2026. CET-qualified candidates named in the applicable merit list must report in person at their category and rank time with original documents, photocopies and a ₹60,000 bank draft.
What changed?
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has issued connected first-counselling notices for programme code 163, Bachelor in Clinical Psychology, and programme code 166, Master in Clinical Psychology. Both notices require physical document verification and seat allotment at the University’s Dwarka campus.

Seat allotment stops when the available seats are filled. Candidates must use the exact category, region and rank window in the Master in Clinical Psychology notice or Bachelor in Clinical Psychology notice.
Venue
Report to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector 16C, Dwarka, New Delhi 110078. These are offline counselling sessions; logging into the admission portal does not replace physical reporting.
Programme eligibility
- Bachelor in Clinical Psychology, code 163: Senior Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination with science stream.
- Master in Clinical Psychology, code 166: a four-year BA/BSc degree in Psychology from a UGC-recognised university with at least 55% aggregate; the notice gives 50% for SC/ST candidates.
- A master’s applicant who completed a three-year graduation programme must have passed a fourth-year bridge course or the first year of a master’s programme in Psychology with at least 55%, subject to the stated RCI norms and guidelines.
Required student action
- Confirm that your name appears in the CET 2026 merit list for programme code 163 or 166.
- Download and read the complete bachelor’s notice or master’s notice.
- Match your category, region and CET rank to the correct reporting time.
- Prepare a ₹60,000 bank draft towards the part academic fee in favour of “Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University”, payable at Delhi.
- Write the candidate’s name, date of admission, phone number, address, programme, CET rank and CET roll number on the back of the draft as instructed.
- Arrange all originals and one set of photocopies, including the prescribed forms and category documents.
- Reach the Dwarka venue before the stated reporting time; allotment can stop once seats are full.

- Study-centre evidence for an applicable distance/open-learning qualification
Important reservation warning
A candidate claiming a reserved seat must carry the valid certificate in her or his own name. The notices say a reserved-category candidate who does not produce the required document can lose the reserved-category claim and be converted to General Category under University rules. They also state that OBC and EWS seats are not available in the listed self-financing and minority institutes.
What happens if counselling or a document is missed?
A candidate who misses the applicable physical reporting slot is not present for verification and allotment while seats are being filled. Missing or invalid reservation documents can forfeit the category claim. GGSIPU also warns that admission can be cancelled and the entire fee forfeited if a candidate is later found ineligible.

Can the ₹60,000 part academic fee be paid later?
The notices require the prescribed bank draft at counselling. Balance fees, when applicable, are payable at the allotted institute.
Does appearing in the merit list guarantee a seat?
No. The candidate must be eligible, complete document verification and receive an allotment while seats remain available.
