Fees and choices after allotment
- BBA: Freeze the allotted seat and pay Rs 80,000.
- Lateral entry, first allotment in Round 2: Freeze and pay Rs 1,35,000, or Float and pay Rs 60,000.
- Lateral entry, earlier allotment: pay the Rs 75,000 balance when freezing.
- First-year BTech Biotechnology/BPharm: the same Rs 1,35,000 Freeze, Rs 60,000 Float and Rs 75,000 balance rules apply as specified in the revised notice.
- Round 3: lateral-entry and BTech Biotechnology/BPharm candidates can Freeze only; Float is not available.

- Open the official HBTU admission portal and sign in to the 2026 counselling activity.
- Check the allotment result and confirm whether it is a first-time or earlier allotment.
- Select only an option permitted for your course and round. Review the revised schedule before choosing Freeze, Float, internal sliding consent or withdrawal.
- Pay the applicable fee within the Round 2 deadline of August 2 or the Round 3 deadline of August 6.
- Save the payment receipt and status page. Check the portal again for the internal sliding result on August 7 where applicable.

What happens if the action is missed?
The university warns that inaction or delay may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. Do not assume that a Round 2 Float choice remains available in Round 3: lateral-entry and BTech Biotechnology/BPharm candidates must Freeze in Round 3 if they want to retain the allotment under the stated rules.
